New Jersey: Police charge Robert DeMarco with DWI death of Robert Pitts Jr. in head-on crash

GOSHEN – An accident took the life of an unidentified adult male when the car he was operating was struck by another vehicle while driving on Route 47.
According to police reports, police received several 9 -1-1 calls reporting a motor vehicle crash on Route 47. Officers responding to the scene found a head-on crash with both cars in the southbound lane of the highway.
An initial investigation indicated a black Dodge Charger, driven by Robert DeMarco, 29, of Williamstown was traveling north on Route 47 when it left the northbound lane. DeMarco’s vehicle struck a Ford Taurus which was traveling southbound. ….MORE

A Gloucester County man faces DUI and other charges following a head-on crash that killed a Villas man Nov. 7 in Goshen.
Police say Robert Demarco of Williamstown has been charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. The deceased driver has been identified as Robert Pitts Jr., 65 of Villas in Lower Township.  ….MORE
