Illinois: Riding with DUI driver Carlos Heath was the last ride for 18-year-old woman; she is dead, he is in jail

A 31-year-old Warrenville man was charged with aggravated DUI in fatal vehicle crash that killed an 18-year-old woman near Wheaton.

The single-vehicle crash occurred late Thursday on Shaffner Road near Wheaton, DuPage County authorities said.

Officials said a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Karlos Leath was heading south on Shaffner near Mack Road at about 10:30 p.m. when the SUV left the roadway and rolled over.
