Maine: Joseph Boyington indicted on boozing assault while driving charge; cops say he was doing 100 over the limit when he crashed

A Brunswick man, indicted on several charges of aggravated assault and drunk driving, was going 100 miles per hour over the speed limit when he caused a crash that sent four people to the hospital, police said.
Joseph Boyington, 22, was driving his Acura 135 mph in the passing lane of Route 1 north in Bath – an area where the posted speed limit is 35 mph – when his car crashed into the rear of a sport utility vehicle carrying a mother and her 11-year-old son, Bath Police Chief Mike Field said.
Boyington’s passenger, Michael Mason, was the most seriously injured. MORE

BOISE — Police say a 27-year-old Boise woman was driving drunk when she allegedly crashed through a fence into a Boise cemetery early Thursday morning.
Boise police spokesman Chuck McClure says officers got a citizen’s tip that a car had crashed inside the Morris Hill Cemetery near the 300 block of North Latah Street at approximately 1:20 a.m.
