Police said a 40-year-old Bryan man became violent after officers attempted to arrest him for driving while intoxicated.
Eudocio Hernandez Jr. was arrested on at least his third DWI charge on Friday shortly before 8 p.m., according to the arrest report.
After he was placed in the back of a College Station patrol car, officers said, he began hitting his head on the divider in the car. When officers tried to buckle Hernandez’s seat belt, he began kicking at them, grazing one officer’s leg, according to the affidavit.
Police said that after they fastened Hernandez’s seat belt, he screamed obscenities and spat at them, forcing officers to place a spit shield on him.
The officers took Hernandez to St. Joseph hospital for a mandatory blood draw, where he continued to kick at officers around him and the woman at the
