New Jersey: Lacey Township Police note DUI arrests for April 22, 2014; vehicles impounded under “John’s Law”

On Monday, January 20, 2014, at 10:54 p.m., Officer Evan Androcy conducted a traffic stop on Route 9 South near Station Drive, in Forked River. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, 31-year-old Stanley N. Zalewski, of Imperato Court in Toms River for DUI. He was transported to police headquarters and processed. Stanley N. Zalewski was later released after receiving traffic summonses for DUI, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Exhibit both insurance and registration documents. The vehicle Stanley N. Zalewski was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.

California: DUI killer Kimberly Kreis has been DUI before; was ordered to detox in ’95, says KEYT; Jessica Leffew, Danielle Murillo and Brian Lopez are dead

The car that Kreis was driving crashed into a disabled Mazda near the Castillo off-ramp of the southbound 101 freeway in Santa Barbara. Two 17 year old North Torrance High School students were killed in the accident- Jessica Leffew and Danielle Murillo. 20 year old Brian Lopez also died in the wreck. The driver of the Mazda, Eric August, is hospitalized in critical condition.
