With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office has launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to public safety in our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence during the past week.

Maryland: Brian Gore died in high-speed booze cruise, say police

The investigation into this crash has revealed that the vehicle, a white 2005 Acura TL four door, was travelling east on Friendship Rd. Just east of the intersection with Boyds Turn Rd., the vehicle travelled off of the right side of the roadway and into the grass. Once in the grass, the driver lost control of the car. The Acura then reentered the roadway and began to spin. The vehicle then travelled across the roadway and off of the left side of the road. The Acura then travelled up an embankment and struck a light support pole and a tree before coming to rest.
