Maryland: State Police probe 15 crashes involving DUI drivers over one weekend
This past weekend, October 2, 2015 through October 5, 2015, troopers investigated 15 collisions involving suspected impaired drivers. One of those crashes involved a Maryland State Trooper occurred in the Annapolis area while attempting to stop a suspected drunk driver. He was arrested and charged.
California: Cops nab DUI homicide suspect Sue Young Sohn at airport as she attempted to flee the country; one of two drivers who fled after killing Eli Malahi
Investigators believe that Jung and Sohn left a local Beverly Hills restaurant in separate cars just prior to the fatal collision. Jung and Sohn are believed to be the drivers of the two vehicles that ultimately struck and killed the victim. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the cause of the fatal collision. Additionally, Sohn is currently on probation with Orange County Superior Court due to prior convictions for driving under the influence.
