According to Sgt. Chris Willson, on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 1:05 A.M., officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision at the 39000 block of Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage.  The investigation revealed a silver Cadillac sedan was traveling northbound on Bob Hope Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle, collided into the center median, and came to rest in the southbound lanes of traffic disabling the vehicle.  There were no injuries as a result of the collision.  The driver was identified as Debra Cervantes, age 25 of Palm Desert.  Cervantes was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Cervantes was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation prior to being booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio.
