Worsham was administered a field sobriety test which he failed. He was also administered a drug influence evaluation and determined to be impaired and under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. Worsham was taken into custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; a straw, negligent driving, driving on a suspended license, and driving under the influence of CDS.

California: Brian Jones charged with DUI manslaughter for killing woman and child; injured two children in booze cruise in yard

Jones’ vehicle struck two trees before colliding into the backyards of two apartments and came to a rest when it struck the rear of the second apartment. Two victims who were initially struck by the vehicle, a 40-year-old female and her 14-month-old daughter succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Two other victims who were in the backyard at the time of the collision, a 7-year-old male and 6-year-old male, were struck by debris from the vehicle and transported to area hospitals. There is no indication that any other vehicles were involved in this collision.

California: DUI would-be jet hijacker swiped baggage cart and drove out to jet and tried to hijack the plane

He was contacted by airport security while on the jet and the male had put the pilot headset on as if he was attempting to steal the aircraft. The male was making irrational statements about needing a plane due to his daughter being kidnapped. Security was able to talk the suspect off the aircraft. Once the male was off the aircraft, security tried to place the suspect into custody. The male began to violently fight with security and was pepper sprayed. The suspect fled from the guard and ran into the Jet Center bathroom
