According to Sgt. John Clark, on Wednesday, November 19, at 10:50 A.M. the La Quinta Police Department responded to Calle Colima west of Avenida Velasco, La Quinta reference a non-injury traffic collision.
The driver and sole occupant was identified as Kirstyn Bielawa.

The responding sheriff’s deputy reported Piedmont exhibited signs of alcohol consumption and refused to submit to a breath test. Piedmont told the deputy that he struck a parked vehicle while checking his cell phone for a message, according to the arrest report.
Piedmont was taken into custody without incident. In addition to DWI, he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while utilizing a mobile device and refusal to submit to a breath test

On October 21st at 9:51PM, a Prince William County police officer was directing traffic in the area of Horner
Rd and Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) related to the fatal crash on Jefferson Davis Hwy. As the officer was controlling the intersection, a driver of a vehicle, identified as the accused, proceeded through the intersection and clipped the officer. A Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy was arrested on DUI and child endangerment charges following a crash Thursday afternoon while he was off duty.
According to Gwinnett police, Dep. Anthony C. Pesaresi of Auburn was driving a 2013 Ford Edge down Braselton Highway in Dacula around 5:30 p.m. when a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder turned in front of him off Hog Mountain Church Road. The Ford then hit the Nissan in the rear.
