Oregon State Police report Kory Firestenberg flew into oak tree and died; Talon Schieffer critical, booze & speed — two other DUI drivers roll into crash scene, one fled, one nabbed

Shortly after this secondary crash, Troopers were flagging vehicles through the fatal crash scene when they observed a male driver displaying odd driving behavior and stopped in the middle of the crash scene. Troopers contacted this male, who was visibly intoxicated, conducted a DUII investigation and the driver was arrested for DUII. 

New York: Eric Dempsey killed two men when he blew stop sign running from cops; Edward Rice and his stepson, Robert Owens

American Medical Response Ambulance (AMR) transported both of those men to Upstate University Hospital, although Edward Rice, 49 years of age died before reaching there. Robert Owens, 22 years of age, was pronounced dead a short time later.

California: Michael Wayne Gordy charged with DUI after killing passenger in crash on Frenchtown Road

The vehicle’s driver, Michael Wayne Gordy, 51, of Oregon House was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, the CHP said in a news release. He and a 41-year-old Brownsville woman suffered serious injuries in the crash.
