Pennsylvania: John Monacelli allowed DUI driver to drive his vehicle in fatal crash into building; nabbed in Pa. on DUI rap

The Maryland crash happened just over a month after Monacelli was stopped in Montgomery County, Pa. with a blood-alcohol level of .19 (more the twice the legal limit for driving) and Xanax in his system.

Virginia: City of Fredericksburg Police report DUI arrests for April 21, 2015; Bijan Bello DUI with stolen TV’s and drugs

Bijan Bello, 23, of Woodbridge was arrested on charges of DUID, possession of schedule I,II narcotics, grand larceny, eluding, destruction of property, and numerous traffic offenses. Bello was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.

Indiana: Vanderburgh Sheriff Dave Wedding reports three booze-cruise crashes in one night; charges pending in all three starting with Caleb Lannan getting a shed-in-one!

The third accident occurred at 2:20 am. Randall McCandless of Gentryville, Indiana drove his Chevrolet Camaro off the roadway and into a water reservoir near Rusher Creek Drive and Hwy 41. Mr. McCandless and two passengers were able to crawl out of the reservoir and walk to a nearby business prior to the Sheriff’s Office being notified. The driver and one passenger were transported to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Tire marks were located leading from the roadway to the water’s edge. The vehicle was completely submerged and arrangements are being made to recover it.

California: Noel Cipriano Felix charged with DUI hell-ride into house; injured sleeping kid

On January 31, 2015 at 7:00 PM, the Coachella Police Department located and arrested, Noel Cipriano Felix, age 28 of Coachella, in the 53000 block of Calle Los Hermanos, Coachella. During the month of September 2014, a felony hit and run with injury arrest warrant was issued for Felix for fleeing the scene of a traffic collision after he crashed his pickup truck into an occupied residence in the 86000 block of Palmeras Circle. An 8-year-juvenile who was sleeping inside the residence was immediately hospitalized following the September 6, 2014 incident.

Kentucky: booze and temper drove Justin Cottrell on DUI crash into his own home

Cottrell, during the pursuit, returned to his residence where he drove his truck into the home. Simpsonville Fire Department responded to extricate Mr. Cottrell from the vehicle at which time he was arrested.

The driver of the vehicle, Justin Cottrell, age 31, of Kalamazoo Michigan, was arrested and charged with DUI 1st Off (Aggravated), Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), and Speeding. Additional charges are pending from the Simpsonville Police Department.
