Virginia: John David Akamo charged with DUI after he killed Stephen Bartok in head-on crash –

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A woman who was driving the wrong way on the Sawgrass Expressway and slammed into another car head-on, killing two women inside, pleaded guilty in court Wednesday morning.

Muir was not injured in the crash. Police observed he smelled like alcohol, according to officials. Muir allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Chester County Hospital where his blood alcohol level was checked

Guest stated, “Sullivan was operating his vehicle at a time that his blood alcohol content was two to three times over the legal limit. Sullivan’s decision to drink and drive resulted in the death of a 10-year-old child. This case highlights the importance in keeping those that would consume alcohol from getting behind the wheel of a car.”

In March 2001, Casey plowed his BMW into 71-year-old Mary Montgomery as she crossed the street carrying a bag of groceries in Miami Beach. She died. Police officers immediately arrested Casey, then 27, after finding his damaged car parked at his South Beach apartment.
