A Pensacola woman charged with DUI in the October 2011 crash that killed two people, including a child, has been convicted.

On Thursday, an Escambia County jury found Kimberly Renee Rodrigues, 45, guilty of two counts of DUI manslaughter, one count of DUI causing great bodily harm and one count of DUI causing property damage, according to the State Attorney’s Office.

The charges stemmed from a traffic crash on Oct. 21, 2011 on Interstate 10. Rodrigues was driver her Toyota Tacoma approximately 86 mph on the interstate when she slammed into the rear of a delivery truck on the westbound side of the road near the Pine Forest exit, according to the State ….MORE
