Idaho: police say booze a factor in Ann Sorensen plowing into rear of Nissan waiting to turn at intersection; Jon Sorensen dead, Delilah Bitton injured

According to Idaho State Police, on August 29, 2012, at 10:15 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a fatality crash on State Highway 34 at Fish Hatchery Road. 
A 2011 Nissan Juke, driven by Jon Sorensen, 49, of Grace, ID, was stopped at the intersection of State Highway 34 to turn left onto Fish Hatchery Road, when he was struck from behind by a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Ann Sorensen, 46, of Downey, ID.  Jon succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.  Delilah Bitton, 51, of Grace, ID, was a passenger of Jon’s and was transported by ground ambulance to Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.  Ann was also transported by ground ambulance to Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.
Police report that alcohol is believed to be a factor.
Both Jon and his passenger Delilah were both wearing seat belts.  Ann was not wearing her seat belt.
No lanes were blocked while the crash was being investigated.
