Maryland: Easton Police nab teeny-bop driver from Belle Vernon, Pa. for DUI drugs; bust his pal, Jacob Hajostek for packing pot

 

EASTON, MD. 10/08/2015— The Easton, Md., Police Department reports that on October 2, 2015,  a juvenile, 17,from Belle Vernon, PA was referred to Juvenile Services for driving under the influence, driving under the influence of CDS and possession of marijuana. An officer stopped a Chevrolet Cavalier for speeding on Ocean Gateway.

The officer detected the odor of burning marijuana coming from the car resulting in a search of the vehicle revealing marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

The juvenile driver was given field sobriety tests, he was taken into custody when he could not complete the tests properly. The juvenile was later evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert, resulting in the charge of driving under the influence of CDS.

Jacob Hajostek, 19, of Belle Vernon, PA was also issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana.
