Frederick, MD- Frederick Police report that on 10/9/2016 at approximately 8:49 pm, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the Great Frederick Fair fairgrounds for what was initially reported as a personal injury collision. Upon arrival, officers discovered it was a single vehicle collision and there were no injuries. Upon contact with the at-fault driver, identified as Leoncio Jarquin, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his clothing and breath.

After not completing standardized field sobriety tests to the officer’s satisfaction, Jarquin was placed under arrest and transported to Frederick Police Department headquarters. After being processed for DUI/DWI and other traffic charges, Jarquin was released to a responsible person from the station.
