New Jersey: Mount Olive Township Police report DUI arrest of John Olsen

On June 12, 2014 at 4:17pm Officer Chad Rossy was dispatched to Equity Plaza for a report of a suspicious male, who callers believed was intoxicated. Officer Rossy located the subject in the parking lot of Equity Plaza.

As Officer Rossy was speaking with the subject his friend arrived in a 2002 Saturn to pick him up. Officer Rossy approached the driver, identified as  John Olsen who appeared to be impaired due to alcohol consumption. Officer Rossy also learned that Olsen did not have a valid driver’s license. Officer Rossy conducted field sobriety tests and Olsen was subsequently arrested and transported to police headquarters.

At headquarters Olsen submitted to chemical tests and was charged with D.W.I., Reckless Driving, and Unlicensed Driver.  Olsen was released to a sober driver and he has a pending court appearance.
