GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — A New York man is appealing his murder conviction stemming from a notorious drunken-driving crash that killed a wedding limousine chauffeur and a 7-year-old flower girl. A lawyer for Martin Heidgen (HEYD’-gihn) told a Brooklyn appeals court Monday that a jury was wrong to convict him of depraved-indifference murder. Attorney Jill Harrington said jurors should have considered a lesser charge, manslaughter.   MORE
