ALBANY, NEW YORK – 01/01/2016 – New York State Police report that on December 31, 2015, a Trooper assigned to State Police Capital stopped a vehicle for speeding on Water Street in the City of Albany. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Richard S. Tullock, age 46, of Rexford, NY for Driving While Intoxicated. Tullock was processed at SP Capital and issued tickets returnable to Albany City Police Court on January 8, 2016 at 9:00 AM.

Troopers make DWI arrest on Kensington Expressway
On December 29, 2015, New York State Troopers arrested Michelle Harrison, 34 years of age, from Buffalo for DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle 3rd degree and speeding.
Harrison was stopped for speeding on the 33 Expressway in Buffalo.  While interviewing her, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident.  Further investigation revealed she was also suspended.  Harrison was placed under arrest and transported to the State Police Clarence Barracks for processing, where she refused to submit to a breath test.  She was issued tickets and is to appear in the City of Buffalo Court at a later date.
Saxton hits DWI Speed Bump for Second Time at Bat for DWI
POMFRET, NEW YORK —  01/01/2016 — This arrest shows exactly why a first time DWI offender should spend a month in jail and lose their driver’s license for one year.  There would likely never be a second time.

Chris Saxton, age 46, of Jamestown, NY, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, and Driving While Intoxicated, 010116

New York State Police report that on December 27, 2015, Fredonia-based State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret, for speeding 78 mph in a 55 mph speed zone.

Further investigation led to the arrest of the operator, Chris Saxton, age 46, of Jamestown, NY, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, and Driving While Intoxicated, both class E Felonies. Saxton was additionally charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% or more alcohol with a Prior Conviction of Designated Offense 1st Degree, a class E Felony.

Saxton was transported to the Fredonia State Police Station where he was processed.
Saxton was issued uniform traffic tickets for speeding and the above charges, returnable to the Town of Pomfret Court on January 12, 2016.

On Saturday, December 19, 2015, New York State Police Amity arrested MATTHEW D STUCK (on stupid), 44, of Wellsville, NY for DWI.  STUCK was processed and issued UTTs returnable to Town of Wellsville Court on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

Dennis R. Liddell was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated-0.08% BAC, Felony Leandra’s Law, Failed to Keep Right and Moved from Lane Unsafely. He is scheduled to appear in Newfane Court on January 19, 2016.

 

Tamika Coplin was arrested for numerous charges including, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated-0.18% BAC (over twice the legal limit), Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Drinking Alcohol in MV on Highway. She was issued an Appearance Ticket and Traffic Tickets to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on January 14, 2016.

 

Bruce S. Gordon was arrested for Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th, a Class A Misdemeanor, Driving While Intoxicated-0.11% BAC, Speeding, Failed to Keep Right and Moved from Lane Unsafely. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on January 14, 2016.

Clarence man got his wings clipped on Christmas Eve for Felony DWI when trooper rang his bell

CLARENCE, NEW YORK — 01/01/2016 — New York State Police report that on December 24, 2015, State Troopers arrested Patrick Siragusa, 39 years of age, from Clarence on a charge of felony DWI.

A motorist reported an erratic driver on Shimerville Road in Clarence.  Troopers responded and did observe the vehicle pulling into a driveway on Shimerville.  While speaking with the driver, Patrick Siragusa, the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was immediately evident, along with bloodshot watery eyes, unsteadiness on his feet and slurred speech.  Field sobriety testing was performed and failed.  He was arrested for DWI and transported to SP Clarence for processing and refused to submit to a breath test.  Siragusa was issued tickets and charged with Felony DWI, due to previous DWI convictions, and refusal to take breath test.  He was turned over to a third party and is to appear in the Town of Clarence Court at a later date.

BURNS, NEW YORK — 01/01/2016 — New York State Police report that on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, NYSP Fillmore was on patrol on E Main St in the Town of Burns and stopped a motor vehicle for inadequate license plate lamps.  The operator was identified as Kevin F. Keilman who appeared to be operating the motor vehicle while being intoxicated.  Keilman was arrested and processed at SP Fillmore where he submitted to a breath test resulting in .12 % BAC.  Keilman was charged with DWI and issued traffic tickets for inadequate license plate lamps, violating conditions of a conditional license, refusal to take a preliminary breath test, and failure to notify DMV with a change of address and released with him returning to the Town of Burns Court on 01/11/2016 at 5 PM.
