New York: State Police report DWI arrests for Oct. 16, 2016

New York State Police reports that on October 1, 2016, SP Batavia Troopers arrested Nathan Constantino, 20, of Batavia for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and for Possession of Marihuana.

Following a traffic stop on SR-33 in the Town of Stafford, Constantino was found to be in possession of marihuana and after failing field sobriety tests was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Constantino was processed and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Stafford Court.

On October 2, 2016, Troopers arrested Richard E. Dalton, 58 of Lockport, NY for driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and failing to keep right.

Dalton was stopped on Old Beattie Road in the Town of Lockport for multiple lane violations.  Dalton showed signs of alcohol intoxication and was placed under arrest after he failed field sobriety tests.  He was transported to SP Lockport where he consented to a breath test that recorded a .15% BAC.

Dalton was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court where he is scheduled to appear at a later date.

On October 2, 2016, Troopers arrested Brian H. Davis, 38 of Amherst, NY for driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and improper left turn on a two-way roadway.

Davis was stopped on Transit Road in the Town of Lockport for multiple lane violations.  Davis showed signs of alcohol intoxication and was placed under arrest after he failed field sobriety tests.  He was transported to SP Lockport where he refused to take a breath test.

Davis was arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court and released on his own recognizance.
