Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barrack report the following DUI arrests for May 28, 2017

At 4:15 PM, Troopers arrested Sean Altshuler, age 21, of 25 Tobey Court, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs-1st Offense/B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a 911 call to the Wickford Barracks regarding an erratic operator and Troopers locating the vehicle on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

At 11:50 PM, Troopers arrested Joshua Horan, age 26, of 27 Cumberland Avenue, South Attleboro, Massachusetts for DUI/First Offense BAC .15/Greater (Phase I .153, Phase II .151). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick.

Lincoln Woods Barracks

On Friday, May 26, 2017, at 5:35 PM, Troopers arrested Leonel Tavares, age 37, of 34 Market Street, Boston, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense /B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of multiple 911 calls to the Lincoln Woods Barracks regarding an erratic operator and Troopers locating the vehicle on Route 95 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

On Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 2:34 AM, Troopers arrested Astrid Ortiz, age 25, of 5 Whelan Road, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense/B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment where she will be presented as a violator.
