NOAH LAMBERT HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH FELONY DUI RESULTING IN DEATH

ATTENTION READERS: The following posts to the DWI Hit Parade Facebook page have been included with this graphic and news about the DUI arrest of Noah Lambert for the death of his passenger Brandon Stites.

It appears from the sentiments expressed below that there will be many more DUI deaths in this community.  Travelers would be advised to avoid this peculiar area of South Carolina.

The logic expressed by those posting on Facebook is that since they were all friends, no one should hold the adult driver responsible for his actions; that since they were all drinking, the death of Stites was the equal responsibility of all those involved.

The reality: All those who boarded Noah’s booze cruise were indeed responsible for their own entry into the vehicle. Noah should be held accountable for his actions in spite of the bad judgment of his pals.  The people of Woodruff need to sober up before any more of their young people die unnecessarily and today would be a good day to begin to get their heads on straight.  They have a long way to go.

“It was an accident” said one poster.

A fatality taking place as a result of a crash caused by an intoxicated driver is not an “accident”. That death is a predictable outcome of a choice made by the driver who needs to be held accountable.
