A man accused of smashing his SUV into the side of a house and killing a pet during a drunken driving accident last week was placed on the 24/7 sobriety program Tuesday and given stricter bond conditions.
Chad Garner, 24, appeared before Judge John Hinrichs after a rare special request from Minnehaha Deputy State’s Attorney Eric Johnson.
Johnson’s request was a bid for a new arrest of Garner in an effort to return him to jail. Garner was released Friday on a $2,700 bond. ….MORE
