Idaho: State Police, Boise Police and Ada Sheriff’s deputies round up record number of drunk drivers in weekend effort

Boise police led the charge on a large amount of DUI arrests in Ada County over the weekend — 34 arrests between 6 a.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday — but don’t really have a theory as to why so many people were driving drunk.
Of those 34 DUI arrests, Boise police made 15, Idaho State police made 9, and Ada County Sheriff’s deputies made 7, according to jail records.
All of those agencies are currently participating in a campaign against aggressive driving with the Idaho Department of Transportation, but officials say these arrests were not a direct part of that initiative. ….MORE
