The alleged drunk driver, identified as 33-year-old Las Vegas resident Patrick Lacy Jr., ran a red light in his 2006 Dodge Charger and struck a 2014 Ford Fiesta in the intersection, killing two men, one believed to be in his 30s and the other in his 50s.

At the time of this writing, 84-year-old driver-Richard Alan Coleman is listed as critical but stable and 80-year-old passenger-Dorothy Elizabeth Coleman is listed as serious but stable. Additional evidence at the scene determined that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the collision.

Spicha was lodged in jail for misdemeanor driving under the influence and felony motor vehicle homicide.

Hogan was pronounced deceased at the scene. Ruiz was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was subsequently arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter.
