New Jersey: Vanessa Norsworthy busted for DWI after hotel incident

According to the Mount Olive Township Police the following arrest for DWI was reported:
On January 23, 2013 at 11:58am Officer Anthony Gardner and Officer Pych responded to the Marriot Residence Inn for the report of a female that was observed stealing wine and exited the hotel through the lobby doors. Officer Gardner located the female in her vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel, and she was identified as Ms. Vanessa Norsworthy, 44, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Norsworthy appeared to be impaired due to alcohol consumption and field sobriety test were conducted. She was subsequently arrested and transported to police headquarters. At police headquarters Ms. Norsworthy submitted to chemical tests and was charged with D.W.I. and Driving without a Driver’s License. She was released from police custody and has a pending court appearance.

Kathryn Bab Charged with DWI in the here-After
According to Mount Olive Township Police, on January 19, 2013 at 12:52am Officer Hering and Corporal Gumann were patrolling Route 206 in the area of the After Restaurant. Officer Hering observed a 2010 Ford traveling in the shoulder of Route 206 traveling northbound on Route 206. A motor vehicle was conducted at which time the driver, identified as Kathryn Babb appeared to be impaired due to alcohol consumption. Corporal Gumann conducted field sobriety test and Babb was subsequently arrested and transported to
Police Headquarters. At Police Headquarters, Babb submitted to chemical breath test and was charged with D.W.I., Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain lane, Failure to display documents, and Uninsured Vehicle. She was releases to a sober driver and has a pending court appearance.
Patricia Kurtz charged with DWI and Tailgate Queen
On January 19, 2013 at 7:21pm Officer Chad Rossy was patrolling Route 46 west when he observed a 2004 Chevy attempt an unsafe lane change. Officer Rossy followed the target vehicle and observed the vehicle fail to maintain its lane multiple times and tailgate vehicles on Route 46. A motor vehicle stop
was conducted at which time the driver, identified as Patricia Kurtz appeared to be impaired due to alcohol consumption. Officer Rossy conducted field sobriety test and Ms. Kurtz was subsequently arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. At Police Headquarters Ms. Kurtz submitted to chemical breath test and was charged with D.W.I., Reckless Driving, Unsafe lane change, Failure to maintain a lane, Tailgating, Driving while suspended, Maintenance of lamps, and Failure to display documents. She has a pending court appearance.
Nutting charged with DWI crash in front of Kennedy’s Pub
On January 20, 2013 at 6:28 pm Officer Phil Ryan was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in front of the Kennedys Pub. During the investigation Officer Ryan observed that the driver who caused the accident, William Nutting, 28, appeared to be impaired due to alcohol consumption. The driver of the second vehicle and the passenger were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Officer Ryan conducted field sobriety test and Nutting was subsequently arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. At Police Headquarters Nutting submitted to chemical breath test and was charged with D.W.I., Assault by auto, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Failure to maintain a lane, and Uninsured vehicle. Nutting was released on his own recognizance to a sober driver and has a pending court appearance.
Bhavik Gor charged with DWI in Swerving Beamer
On January 20, 2013 at 9:05pm Officer Carlson was patrolling Route 206 in the area of Chestnut Drive. Officer Carlson observed a 2007 BMW fail to maintain its lane multiple times. A Motor vehicle stop was conducted at which time the driver, Bhavik Gor, 27, appeared to be impaired due to alcohol consumption. Officer Carlson conducted field sobriety test and Gor was subsequently arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. At Police Headquarters, Gor submitted to a chemical breath test and was charged with D.W.I., Reckless driving, and Failure to maintain a lane. Mr. Gor was released to a sober driver and has a pending court appearance.

New Jersey: Mayhem cruise in Land Rover nets DUI and slew of charges against Douglas Disbrow

MOUNT OLIVE TWP. – A 56-year-old man was charged with drunk driving Saturday, June 16, after his car slammed into two other vehicles, leaving three people injured, police said.
Police received a 9-1-1 call at 8:43 p.m. of an erratic driver whose 2006 Land Rover had left the CVS parking lot on Route 46 heading east.
An off duty police officer followed the Land Rover east on Route 46 and saw it crash into a car near the Village Green.
After striking the car, the Land Rover, driven by Douglas Disbrow of Peapack-Gladstone, turned around and sped west on Route 46 at speeds in excess of 80 miles per hour, according to police.
Disbrow’s vehicle allegedly rear- ended a 2000 Ford Explorer that was stopped in the right lane of Route 46at the intersection of Naughright Road. Police said the force of the crash pushed the Explorer from the roadway into the traffic signal post.  ….MORE

New Jersey: Too strung out to drive straight in Deadhead Express gets man busted for DWI

Mount Olive Township, N.J., Police report that on 15 February, 2012 at 01:57 am Officer Brian Braikovich was on patrol in the Budd Lake section of the Township when he observed a 1988 silver Mazda being operated in an unsafe fashion. Braikovich stopped the vehicle and went to speak with its driver, now identified as Eric Hohner, 26, of Budd Lake NJ. Hohner displayed signs of impairment and after a brief investigation was arrested for DWI. During the arrest process Hohner was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Hohner was transported to Police Headquarters, where he was processed and charged with DWI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as several motor vehicle violations. Hohner was released without bail pending his court appearance.

New Jersey: Mount Olive Township Police reports on two DWI arrests; both released to sober drivers

(Mount Olive, N.J. Feb. 7, 2012) — According to police, while on patrol on Feb. 4, 2012, Mount Olive Township New Jersey Officer Anthony Gardner conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2008 Scion for failing to maintain a lane of travel. While speaking with the driver, identified as Alexandra Pensabene, it appeared that she was impaired due to drug use. Police report that field sobriety tests were conducted at which time Ms. Pensabene was arrested. During the motor vehicle stop Officer Gardner also observed and collected (2) burnt marijuana cigarettes, a small glass pipe with burn marijuana residue, and a small plastic “dime bag” which contained suspected marijuana. Pensabene was transported to police headquarters where she was charged with driving while under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, use of marijuana, and use of a prescription legend drug. She was released to a sober driver pending a court appearance.
Police report that on Feb. 5, 2012 at 1:44 am Officer Gardner observed a 1996 Audi traveling on Route 206 north in Flanders, N.J., that was failing to maintain a single lane of travel. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at which time the driver was identified as Dean Mancinelli. While speaking with Mancinelli, it appeared that he was impaired due to alcohol consumption. Field sobriety tests were conducted at which time Mancinelli was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he submitted to a chemical breath test. Police say that Mancinelli was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failing to maintain a lane, and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was released to a sober driver pending a court appearance.

New Jersey: Mount Olive Police note two drivers competed to see who would be last DWI arrests of 2011

Mount Olive Police report that on Dec. 30, 2011 at 5:37 pm an officer responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 46 near the TD Bank. Upon patrol arrival it was determined that a 1998 Jeep that was driven by Mr. Eric Koss, 48, of Long Valley, N.J. had struck a stopped 2007 Hyundai that was operated by Ms. Christina Hayes.

The 2007 Hyundai was stopped in traffic behind other vehicles that were waiting for a red traffic light. Ms. Hayes, and both passengers, a 13 year old female and a 10 male, were transported to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained from the crash.

During the course of the investigation, Cpl. Carl Mase detected that Koss was impaired due to alcohol consumption. After failing field sobriety tests, Koss was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

At police headquarters Koss submitted to a chemical breath test at which time he was charged with driving while intoxicated, assault by automobile, reckless driving, and operating an unregistered vehicle. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility in default of $25,000 bail.

 

While on patrol on Dec. 31, 2011 at 1:53 am., Officer Michael Zarro observed a 2005 Toyota traveling south on Route 206 that was failing to maintain a lane of travel.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted after the vehicle made a wide turn onto Alden Terrace at which time the driver was identified as Leah McPeak, 19, of Flanders, N.J. While speaking with McPeak Officer Zarro detected that she was impaired due to alcohol consumption.

After failing field sobriety tests Ms. McPeak was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. While securing Ms. McPeak, Officer Zarro located a small glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue concealed in her clothing. McPeak was transported to police headquarters where while in processing a small cell phone case was collected from her person which contained a small quantity of suspected marijuana and suspected marijuana cigarette.

Ms McPeak submitted to chemical breath test and was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and issued summons for reckless driving, unsafe lane change, obstructed view, expired insurance card, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

New Jersey: All in a day’s busy schedule…woman wrecked, left scene, went to the beauty parlor; charged DWI

Mount Olive Township Police report the following: On June 1
st  at 3:15 pm, Officer Grimm was dispatched to the Village Green Shopping Center in the area of Home Goods for the report of a traffic accident. The caller stated that the gray Volkswagen that had caused the crash had left the area of Home Goods, and was now by Lighten Up Hair Salon.
Officer Casey Grimm located the Volkswagen parked by the salon, and located the driver, Valerie Brandt, 49, of Budd Lake, NJ, inside of the salon. Officer Grimm brought Brandt back out to her vehicle to speak with her. As he did so, Officer Grimm detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Brandt was asked to perform field sobriety tests. Brandt was placed under arrest, and transported to police headquarters. She was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene, and Failure to Report an Accident. Brandt was released to a sober driver pending a court hearing.
Toyota at a High Rate!
Mount Olive Township Police report the following: On June 2, 2011 at 3:00 am, Officer Michael Russell was on routine patrol when he observed a black Toyota traveling on Rt. 46 West at a high rate of speed. Officer Russell executed a traffic stop of the Toyota in the area of Equity Plaza. As Officer Russell spoke with the driver, Zohab Boghani, 20, of Budd Lake, N.J., he detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Boghani was asked to exit the vehicle to perform field sobriety tests. Boghani was placed under arrest, and transported to police headquarters. He was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, and Speeding. Mr. Boghani was released to a sober driver pending a court hearing.
