A Lodi man suspected of being drunk behind the wheel when he crashed into a car over the weekend — killing two men — was formally charged Monday with two counts of vehicular homicide.
A judge ordered Jacob Cintron, 29, to remain held on $125,000 bail at the Bergen County Jail as he awaits indictment on the charges that could put him behind bars for up to 10 years in prison if he is convicted.
Authorities said Wilfredo Pena, 43, of the Bronx, and Segundo Fernandez-Urena, 28, of Bay Shore, N.Y., exited a Lincoln Town car early Sunday morning on Route 80 east and began changing a flat tire while their two female passengers remained in the car. ….MORE
