Penfield, N.Y. —The woman who struck a biker with her car last Sunday has been charged with vehicular manslaughter.
Megan Merkel, 23, was arraigned today in Penfield Town Court on charges of second-degree vehicular manslaughter, DWI, and inadequate brakes. Judge John Lomenzo also added unlicensed operation and inadequate steering to the charges.
