SAN JOSE — The 23-year-old driver of a 2003 Honda Civic involved in a single-car fatal collision Monday night was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter after a passenger in his car died, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver, Henry Lee of San Jose, was arrested Tuesday night following the crash on northbound Interstate 880 on the Bascom Avenue off-ramp, according to the CHP.
Lee was reportedly driving at an “excessive rate of speed” when he collided with a concrete rail located on the left side of the offramp at about 10:40 p.m., according to the CHP. Upon impact ….MORE
