South Carolina: boozing teen Darius Kentrell Andrews ends life of pregnant mom in DUI crash

GREENWOOD, S.C. —The highway patrol says a  teen faces DUI charges after he was involved in a crash that killed one person  and sent four others to the hospital.

The South Carolina Highway  Patrol said the crash occurred on SC 225 in Greenwood about 11:40 p.m.  Friday.

Relatives say 23-year-old  Alisha Boyter was being driven home by a friend, Colbi Weaghington.

According to troopers, a  17-year-old, driving under the influence, was on the road, too. The Highway  Patrol arrested and charged the teen with felony DUI. He was taken to the  Greenwood County Detention Center.

Greenwood County Detention  Center officials identified the suspect as Darius Kentrell Andrews. Jail  officials told News 4 Andrews faces two counts of felony DUI and a judge set his  bond at $150,000, cash or surety.
Two juveniles, and a 30-year-old in the  car with the teen, Quastosfu Williams were taken to the hospital, troopers  said.  The driver of the second car, 21-year-old Colbi Weaghington
