Gwen Slater busted for booze cruise napping after DUI with kid prior charge

Alaska Troopers report that on 11/09/2020 at 2200 hrs., Alaska State Troopers responded to a business off of Pine Street in Soldotna for a welfare check on a female asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot. During the investigation, Gwen Slater, 47 of Soldotna, was contacted by AST and showed signs of intoxication. A check of APSIN/NCIC revealed Slater was in violation of conditions of release for the original charges of Driving While Under the Influence and Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree. Slater was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial where she was held without bail.

Timothy Pruitt will be hauled before the Judge for DUI whether he likes it or not

Alaska State Troopers report that on 10/31/2020 at approximately 2101, Alaska State Troopers contacted Timothy Pruitt, 33 YOA of Kodiak, as a result of a traffic stop for motor vehicle violations. Pruitt had active Kodiak Police Department arrest warrants for Failure to Appear in court on the original charges of DUI and MICS 5. Pruitt was transported to Kodiak Jail and remanded without bail.

Molly Hughes was loaded on booze
and bullets, say troopers

Alaska State Troopers say that on 11/06/2020, at approximately 0025 hours, AST received a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) complaint indicating a vehicle had been driving erratically and was parked at the Longmere Lake boat ramp.  Alaska State Troopers located the vehicle and contacted the operator, Molly Hughes, 25, of Soldotna.  Investigation revealed Hughes was operating the vehicle, impaired by alcoholic beverages, and was in possession of a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol.  Hughes was arrested for operating under the influence and fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon.  She was remanded at the Wildwood pretrial facility.   

Walter Stockwell DUI Arrest

Alaska Troopers say that on 11-5-2020, at approximately 1900 hours, AST contacted a vehicle that had run off Nistler Rd. and into the ditch.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Walter Stockwell, 50, of Delta Junction, who had operated the vehicle while being impaired by alcohol.  Stockwell was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Stockwell was also later charged for refusing to submit a breath test.  Stockwell was later released on his own recognizance and given a court date for both charges.

Kathlene Dilorenzo DWI in Juneau

Troopers report that on 11/04/2020 at about 1607 hours, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Kathlene Dilorenzo, age 53 of Juneau on Mendenhall Loop Road.  Investigation revealed that Kathlene was driving while intoxicated.  She was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center for processing.

Matthew Ross DWI Arrest

Alaska State Troopers report that on 11/2/20 at approximately 2045 hours Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an assault involving a firearm at a residence off of Knik Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. AST contacted Matthew Ross, 41, of Wasilla who was driving a 2019 Dodge pickup on Knik Goose Bay Road near Settler’s Bay Drive. Investigation revealed Ross had fired a handgun into his residence in the direction of family members. The police say the investigation further revealed Ross was driving under the influence of alcohol and with a loaded pistol in the vehicle. Matthew Ross was arrested and transported to MSPT on charges of Assault 3rd DV x3, MIW 2nd, MIW 4th, DUI, and Refusal. He was remanded without bail.

Travis Gage DUI arrest

Location: Wasilla
Type: Assault 3rd Degree, DUI, and MIW 4th Degree

On 11/08/2020 at approximately 0028 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a possible robbery in progress near the intersection of N. Pittman Road and W. Golden Drive. Travis Gage, 36 of Wasilla, was placed under arrest for Assault in the 3rd degree for placing another person in fear of imminent serious physical injury by means of a firearm. Travis was also placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence of alcohol and Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 4th Degree. Travis was transported to MSPT where he was remanded and held without bail.

Terry Hicks Jr. DUI arrest; wasn’t his first DUI rodeo

According to the Alaska State Troopers, on November 7, 2020, at approximately 1930 hours Alaska State Troopers in Tok responded to a REDDI report on the Alaska Highway in Tok. AST located the vehicle in the area and contacted the driver who was identified as Terry Hicks Jr, 30 of Tanacross. Investigation revealed Hicks was under the influence of alcohol and was on Conditions of Release from a previous DUI. Hicks was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence, and two counts of Violating Conditions of Release. Hicks was transported to the Tok AST Post for DataMaster, which resulted in a BrAC of .196%. Hicks was issued additional citations and released on his own recognizance due to the COVID Bail Schedule.
