CASA GRANDE, AZ – Authorities say a man was killed in a two-vehicle collision south of the Valley Wednesday.
Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene south of Casa Grande just after 3 p.m.
During the investigation, they found that Rafael Servellon Vanega, 56 of Eloy, lost control of his 2005 Crown Victoria and swerved into oncoming traffic on Jimmie Kerr Blvd.
He reportedly hit a 2006 Chevrolet ¾ ton pickup truck. The driver and passenger in the truck did not receive life-threatening injuries.
Vanega was unconscious, not breathing and trapped inside his vehicle. Once he was removed, he was transported to Casa Grande Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said…..MORE
