Four people were injured when a motorist in a white Ford Explorer drove southbound on the northbound Arroyo Seco Parkway and crashed head-on into a blue Toyota Prius south of Avenue 52 late Sunday, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
One of the people had to be extracted from a vehicle, fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
All of the patients were taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital, he said.
