
FROM KMPH: The California Highway Patrol reports that on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at 7:10 PM there was a fatal DUI crash at the intersection of Clovis and Mountain View.

Officers say that a Honda Civic was driving westbound on Mountain View Avenue and crossing the intersection when a semi traveling north on Clovis Avenue blew through the stop sign, crashing into the Civic.

Officers say the impact was so hard that the semi continued through the intersection and crashed into another semi.
The driver of the Honda, Olivia Mendoza, 19, of Fresno, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both semi-truck drivers had minor injuries and were treated at the scene. MORE
CHP investigators say the driver of the first of semi-truck, Andre Hill, failed a sobriety test. They also say he was under the influence of marijuana. Hill was arrested and charged with felony DUI and manslaughter.
Hill faces three felonies:
- DUI,
- gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated,
- and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
He is now in the Fresno County Jail. His bail is set at $98,500.
