California: Antonio Orozco took his half out of the middle until he rammed a palm tree; busted for DUI by Palm Desert Police

According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Carroll, on Friday, April 18, 2014 officers from the Palm Desert Police Department responded to the area of E. Hovley and Carlotta Drive, Palm Desert, in reference to a single vehicle traffic collision.  The investigation revealed a Nissan Sentra was traveling east on E. Hovley Lane near Carlotta Drive when the driver lost control of his vehicle, striking the center median, and ultimately crashing into a palm tree.

The driver was identified as Antonio Orozco, age 40 of Palm Desert.  Orozco sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  It is believed alcohol played a role in this collision and D.U.I. charges will be sought against Orozco out of custody due to injuries he sustained in the collision.
