California: boozing boy in Daddy’s Caddie hit a brick wall in Coachella

On Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 1:32 A.M. the Coachella Police Department responded to the area of Ave Del Parque and Ave 50, regarding a DUI non-injury traffic collision. A white Cadillac collided with a block wall. The driver, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Thermal, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/and or drugs. The juvenile was taken to a local area hospital as a precaution and released to his parents.

On Monday, October 13, 2014, at 4:11 P.M., officers from the Palm Desert Police Department responded to the area of Avenue of the States and Washington Street regarding a DUI non-injury traffic collision.  The investigation revealed that a gray 1999 Toyota Corolla collided with a parked unoccupied vehicle.  The driver, Alma Rosa Rocha, age 32 of Palm Desert, drove away after colliding with the parked vehicle.  Rocha was immediately located and subsequently arrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail for driving under the influence of Alcohol and hit-and-run.  No one was injured as a result of the incident.  She was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

On Monday 10/13/14 at about 12:44 AM, officers from the Perris Police Department along with Cal Fire responded to a traffic collision on Perris Blvd. south of Placentia Avenue in the city of Perris. Officers found that a solo vehicle collided with a power pole and fire hydrant. The collision caused a power outage affecting several neighborhoods in the area. The driver of the vehicle walked away and was located about one quarter of a mile from the scene. He was subsequently arrested for driving while under the influence. The driver was later transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Southbound Perris Blvd. was completely closed to all traffic and will remain closed throughout the morning until Southern California Edison crews can replace the power pole.

Joseph Rodriquez fled after crash, charged with DUI,

On October 12, 2014, at 6:15 AM, deputies from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a DUI non-injury traffic collision near the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Tenth Street, in the city of San Jacinto. During the course of the investigation deputies were able to determine that 18-year-old, Joseph Mario Rodriguez, was driving a Honda Civic northbound on Santa Fe Avenue near the intersection of Tenth Street, when he collided with two unoccupied parked vehicles.

Rodriguez attempted to flee the scene; however, his vehicle became disabled near the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Seventh Street. A resident in the area called 911 to report the incident. Rodriguez was subsequently arrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol and hit-and-run.
