A woman who drove drunk and caused a car crash in Corona that killed an 18-year-old UC Irvine student in 2008 was given the maximum 10-year sentence after an emotional daylong hearing Friday in the downtown Riverside Hall of Justice. Riverside County Superior Court Judge Mark E. Johnson imposed the term on Elva Diaz, 32, of Corona, who tearfully expressed remorse and apologized to the family of victim Rachel Elliott.    …..MORE
