LAKEPORT, CALIF. (08/23/2014) Witnesses and a trail of glass helped Lakeport police find a driver suspected of crashing into an auto dealership, authorities said.

Christopher Don Coffer, 25, of Lucerne was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and hit-and-run causing property damage, Lakeport Police Chief Brad Rasmussen said.

Witnesses reported a car crashed into at Hillside Honda on South Main Street at 5:56 a.m. Sunday and that a driver and two passengers were running away, Rasmussen said. ….MORE
