SANTA ANA – A former Orange County sheriff’s deputy who was to be sentenced Friday for driving under the influence and crashing was taken into custody after he appeared to be drunk in court.
The sentencing was postponed and Orange County Superior Court Judge Frank Fasel increased the bail for Allan James Waters, 37, of Laguna Niguel, from $100,000 to $250,000. Waters pleaded guilty in April to 12 felonies, including driving under the influence and selling fake cocaine. ….MORE
