California: Kenneth Jermome Blow Jr. charged with murder in DUI death of Rebecca Leigh Green

A 24-year-old Lakewood man is in custody without bail after his arrest on four felony charges, including murder, following a Friday morning crash on Highway 330 in which an 18-year-old woman was killed.
Kenneth Jerome Blow Jr. was arrested at 10:05 a.m. by California Highway Patrol officers at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he was being treated for what a CHP press release described as moderate injuries.
He was booked at West Valley Detention Center. According to jail records, Blow was being held for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol resulting in bodily injury, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol reading of .08 or higher, and murder.
Jail records also indicate Blow was scheduled for an appearance in San Bernardino Superior Court on Tuesday. However, a CHP officer said Tuesday morning that the case was being presented at that same hour to the district attorney’s office for subsequent filing of criminal charges …MORE
