A Mill Valley man was arrested on allegations he crashed his car while intoxicated and ran away in front of witnesses.

Kevin O’Hara Courtney, 63, was booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of drunken driving and leaving the scene of a collision. He was released on bail pending further review by the district attorney’s office.

The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday on Tennessee Valley Road, where a Toyota Highlander went off the road and crashed into a drainage culvert.
