California: Kirby Cude was a DUI Dude, say police, when he rear-ended another vehicle

Riverside Sheriff’s Dept. Sgt. Francisco Velasco reports that on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 6:40 p.m., Palm Desert Police Department responded to a report of a non-injury traffic collision in the area of Fred Waring Dr. and Portola Ave., Palm Desert.

Kirby Cude, 62 years, of Palm Desert, was eastbound on Fred Waring Dr. when his vehicle collided with the rear of another vehicle. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

During the collision investigation, it was determined Cude showed signs of driving while impaired with alcohol and/or drugs. He was arrested and transported to a local hospital as a precaution, then booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio for driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. No injuries were sustained during the collision.

Jose Gonzalez, 26 of Coachella Police hit and run DUI Riverside County Sheriff Feb. 10, 2019

Sgt. Steve Davis of the Riverside Sheriff’s Dept. reports that on February 10, 2019, about 7:32 PM, officers from the Coachella Police Department responded to a hit and run traffic collision in the area of Avenue 53 and Cesar Chavez.  The suspect, Jose Gonzalez, 26 of Coachella was located at his residence along with his vehicle.  The investigation revealed Gonzalez collided with a vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol.   Gonzalez was arrested and booked into Riverside County Jail for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
