LAKEPORT POLICE DUI ARREST INCIDENTS FOR APRIL 2014
April 2, 2014 –Police report that  Jan Ianne Peters, 64, of Clearlake, CA., was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after being spotted by two alert citizens who followed her and obtained cell phone video while law enforcement was responding. Witnesses saw the vehicle in this case traveling all over the road, crossing a double yellow line and almost colliding head on with another vehicle and driving off the side of the road and almost colliding with the hillside.  The video shows the vehicle in this case traveling completely off the right roadway lane to the adjacent bank.
April 5, 2014 – Ashley Anne Jack, 25, of Lakeport, CA was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after causing a collision and fleeing the scene. She was tracked down and arrested by officers, say police.
April 10, 2014 – Nicholas Neil Surrell-Berry, 27, of Kelseyville, CA was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after being spotted by an alert citizen.  April 12, 2014 – Hugo De Paz Granados 29 of Lakeport, CA was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on a patrol stop after the officer spotted him driving at over 50 MPH on Main St in downtown Lakeport. The officer also saw the vehicle swerving and weaving significantly.  April 12, 2014 – Ian Skylar Sanders 21 of Lakeport, CA was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after causing a collision and fleeing the scene. He was tracked down by officers a short distance away.
April 20, 2014 – Nicholas Michael Jones 33 of Nice, CA was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on a patrol stop after the officer saw his vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed while tailgating and weaving.
April 24, 2014 – Amilia Naomi Stanford 19 of Marysville, CA was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after being located by officers responding to a suspicious circumstances call. Officers found Stanford driving her vehicle forward and backward, while her husband was leaned over the hood of a vehicle during a domestic dispute.
From Lakeport Police Chief Brad Rasmussen: “As we stated earlier this year, we will be posting the names, ages, photographs, city of residence and circumstances of all persons arrested by our department for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We thank all alert citizens who have reported and helped us remove drunk and drugged drivers from our streets before they injured or killed someone. All May 2014 DUI arrest incidents will be posted next month.”
