CALIFORNIA: Michael Reinhardt found a block wall he couldn’t make his car climb; wins DWI rap


Sergeant Rod LaBrecque of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reports that on Monday, April 15, 2019, at approximately 12:31 PM, officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision in the 71-000 block of Highway 111, Rancho Mirage.

Police say that it was determined the driver, Michael Reinhardt, 62 years of Rancho Mirage, was traveling eastbound on Highway 111 and ran off the roadway, colliding with a block wall.  During the investigation, it was determined that Reinhardt showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Reinhardt was arrested for driving under the influence and was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.  Once treated, he was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
