CALIFORNIA: Miguel Gutierrez hit it out of the park for Black Friday DUI crash

According to Sergeant Sheree Anthony on November 29, 2019, at approximately 01:31 A.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies, assigned to the city of Perris, responded to a report of a vehicle traffic collision on the 2000 Block of Wilson Avenue, in the city of Perris.

The vehicle collision involved one vehicle traveling northbound on Wilson Avenue and hitting two parked unoccupied vehicles.  The driver of the vehicle, Miguel Gutierrez, age of 43 of Perris, did not sustain any injuries, however, he was found to be intoxicated.  Miguel Gutierrez was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for Driving Under the Influence.

On November 29, 2019, at 8:33 pm, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area of Murrieta Road x Newport Road, to investigate a two-vehicle traffic collision.  The RSD dispatch center received several calls from citizens who reported the collision, and the intersection was partially blocked by the wreckage. Upon arrival, the deputies discovered a white Chevrolet and a white Subaru collided in the intersection. There were no injuries reported.

During the investigation, deputies determined the driver of the white Chevrolet, Ernest Nicholas Gonzalez, of Perris, caused the collision by failing to stop at the red light. Gonzalez turned left on a solid red light in front of the other vehicle that was approaching head-on.

Gonzalez displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. He was booked at the Cois Bird Detention Center. Deputies will file charges related to the DUI.

On November 28, 2019, at approximately 10:37 P.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies, assigned to the city of Perris, responded to a report of a vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Rider Street and Evans Road, in the city of Perris.   The collision involved two vehicles that collided in the intersection.  Erik Valdez, age 27 of San Bernardino, was transported to Riverside University Health System for injuries and will later be charged for Driving Under the Influence.

Sergeant Steve Staton reports that on November 26, 2019, at approximately 1:47 A.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies, assigned to the city of Menifee, responded to a report of a vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Connecticut Drive and La Bertha Lane, in the city of Menifee.  The collision involved a single vehicle that collided into a residence on Connecticut Drive.  Gage Austin, age 19 of Menifee, was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for Driving Under the Influence.

Sergeant Chad Thompson reports that on November 24, 2019, at approximately 12:30 P.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies, assigned to the city of Menifee, responded to the report of a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic collision at the intersection of Newport Road and Haun Road, Menifee. William Fagan, age 55 of Sun City, was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for Driving Under the Influence.
