California: party hardy driver Robert Miller charged with DUI; sent 3 to hospitals after crashing into 2 vehicles

 

 

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, on  Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 2:33 A.M., officers from the Temecula Police  Department responded to the intersection of Temecula Parkway and Pechanga Parkway  concerning a traffic collision involving three vehicles.

Three  passengers of one of the vehicles involved were taken to a regional hospital  by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth person was treated and  released at the scene for her injuries.

The  investigation determined that Robert Miller, age 20, was driving eastbound on  Temecula Parkway when he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of  Temecula Parkway and Pechanga Parkway. Miller collided with the victim’s  vehicle causing serious injury to the passengers. During the investigation,  officers determined Miller had been driving while intoxicated. Miller was  charged with 23153(a) CVC and later booked into Robert Presley Detention  Center.
