One person is dead and another faces manslaughter and child endangerment charges, after a two-vehicle accident early this morning on El Camino Avenue near Colfax Street, Sacramento police said.
A 24-year-old woman suspected of driving while intoxicated with her two young children in the back seat, was arrested in connection with the crash.
A sports utility vehicle with four men in it was traveling westbound on El Camino Avenue approaching the intersection of Colfax Street about 3:45 a.m., when a sedan traveling behind at a high rate of speed struck the rear of the SUV, according to Officer Michele Gigante, a Sacramento police spokesperson.
