California: Richard Kay Rockey has the jailhouse blues; gramps crashed his Prius into PT Cruiser, wins DUI

Have I killed anyone yet? Richard Kay Rockey is ready to rock and roll with those Jailhouse Blues at Indio Jail.

According to Riverside County Sheriffs Sgt. Jeremy White, on Monday, May 5th, about 8:54 PM, officers from the Indian Wells Police Department responded to a multiple vehicle traffic collision on Highway 111 at El Dorado Drive. The investigation revealed a white Toyota Prius was traveling eastbound on Highway 111 towards El Dorado Drive when it rear ended a yellow Toyota FJ Cruiser, which was stopped for the eastbound red light at El Dorado Drive.

The driver of the vehicle was determined to be Richard Kay Rockey, age 69 of La Quinta. No one was injured as a result of the collision. Rockey was arrested for suspicion of DUI and later booked into the Riverside County Jail in the city of Indio.
