CALIFORNIA: Riverside Sheriff reports Ashely Rodriquez charged with DUI alcohol or drugs after three-vehicle crash

On Thursday, August 29, 2019, at approximately 4:55 PM, Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department, responded to a three-vehicle traffic collision at the 73-200 block of Dinah Shore Drive, Palm Desert.

Police say it was determined the driver, Ashely Rodriguez, 27 years of Desert Hot Springs, was traveling westbound Dinah Shore Drive and collided with two other vehicles.   Rodriguez sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. During the investigation, it was determined that Rodriguez showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Rodriguez was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Rodriguez was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.  Once treated, she was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
