According to the California High Patrol, Christen Payne, of Long Beach, was driving a 2001 Volkswagen at a high speed just after
1 a.m. when she struck the stalled 2004 Toyota in the No. 2 lane of the 91 freeway near Knott Avenue.
The 37-year-old male driver of the Toyota suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash, the CHP said.  ….MORE
